Out of our entire product line, our Wild Anchovy + Borage Oil contains the highest percentage of Omega-6 GLA that supports dogs with skin sensitivities. There are some dog breeds that are prone to allergies and can have continual skin issues throughout their life. PetMD lists these specific dog breeds that have a predisposition to skin allergies as Spaniels, Standard Poodles, Chinese Shar-Peis, American Bulldogs, Doberman Pinschers, English Bulldogs, Labrador Retrievers, and Pit Bull Terriers.

Our Anchovy + Borage Oil contains borage oil from fatty acids found in botanical oils produced from plants that are essential for the health of your dog’s skin. Additionally, Astaxanthin has anti-inflammatory properties key to long-term mobility and comfort. Lastly, the Anchovy fish oil provides the necessary DHA that is important for brain, eye, and heart health.

Life Line Pet’s Wild Anchovy + Borage Oil is packaged in the USA from wild Peruvian Anchovy oil, Canadian Borage seed oil, and Astaxanthin grown in Chile.

Our wild caught Anchovy oil comes from the waters of the Southeast Pacific Ocean off the coast of Peru. The oil is produced in a state-of-the-art operation in Peru close to the source of the raw materials. It is ultra-purified, pharmaceutical grade fish oil in natural triglyceride form, refined and 3rd party tested to verify purity.

For our Borage oil we found a company that controls the whole process from seed to finished product. There is complete traceability from start to finish ensuring the highest level of quality.

Astaxanthin is a powerful carotenoid antioxidant produced by microalgae (Haematococcus pluvialis). There are only two known sources of astaxanthin, the microalgae that produce it and the sea creatures that consume the algae, such as salmon. Our oil contains 50 mcg per gram which is approximately double what is found naturally in wild Salmon and does not impact the winter feeding grounds of whales.
